Connect Claude to your data

Data Curator's Connector lets you ask questions about your data in plain English by connecting your account to Claude. Once it's set up, you can ask something like "How much revenue did I make last month?" right inside Claude and it pulls the answer straight from your Data Curator data — no dashboards, no filters, no exports.

Before you start

• The Connector has to be enabled for your organization. In Data Curator, open the gear icon (top-right) and look for Connector in the left sidebar. If you don't see it, it isn't enabled for your account yet — email support@datacurator.co and we'll turn it on.
• You'll need a Claude account at claude.ai. The Connector works in the Claude web app and the iOS app — the macOS desktop app doesn't support remote connectors yet.
• Set it up somewhere you can check your email, since you'll confirm with a one-time sign-in link.

Get your Connector URL

In Data Curator, open the gear icon (top-right), then Connector. You'll see your Connector URL:

It's the same URL for everyone, and one URL covers all of your organizations. Access is per-user: you sign in with your own email, and Claude only ever sees data for the organizations your account has access to. Copy it — you'll paste it into Claude next.

Connect Claude

1. Open Claude on the web. Go to claude.ai in your browser. (Use the browser or the iOS app — the macOS desktop app doesn't support remote connectors yet.)
2. Open the connector list. Click Customize in the left sidebar (the toolbox icon), scroll to Connectors, and click Add Connector.
3. Paste the Connector URL from Data Curator, then click Connect.
4. Confirm with a magic link. Enter your Data Curator account email when prompted, then check your inbox for a sign-in link and click it.
5. Set tool permissions. Once connected, click the Data Curator connector and set each tool to Always allow. That lets Claude pull your data without asking every time.

That's it — you can now ask Claude about your business.

What you can ask

The Connector gives Claude 25 read-only tools spanning revenue, customers, subscriptions, payment plans, refunds, and data health. A few prompts to get you started:

• "How much revenue did I make last month?"
• "Who are my top 10 customers by lifetime value?"
• "What's my monthly churn rate? Is it getting better or worse?"
• "Break down revenue by product for 2025."
• "Show me individual refund transactions from the last 30 days."

If your account has access to more than one organization, just tell Claude which one you mean.

Good to know

• Web and iOS only. The Claude macOS desktop app doesn't support remote connectors yet, so use claude.ai in a browser or the iOS app.
• Read-only, always. Claude can query your data but can never modify, delete, or create anything.
• Per-user access. You authenticate with your own email via magic link, and Claude only sees the organizations your account can access — exactly like in the app. Nothing to share or manage per org.
• One URL for everything. The same Connector URL works for all of your organizations; there's no separate setup per org.
• The current month is still in progress. Trend questions use complete months, and the current month comes back as month-to-date — so a "this month" figure keeps growing until the month closes.
